Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria have paid a condolence visit to Reverend Joseph Hayep, the former Religious Adviser to Kaduna State Government, Christian Matters.
The Reverend whose mother died last month expressed gratitude for the visit and also extolled the exemplary behaviors of the IMN leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky who he said had set a benchmark.
Speaking on behalf of the visiting IMN members, Dr. Musa S. expressed gratitude with the sympathy the IMN is getting from the Christian community on the Zaria massacre that led to the illegal detention of its leader and the killing of several of its members.
He assured the Reverend that the IMN as they know has always been non-violent, peace promoter and an icon of unity among various adherents of religions and will continue to remain so. He also called on the Reverend to continue his support as he appreciated all his efforts for the Movement.
An IMN cleric Mal Abdullah Mudarris finally prayed for God’s comfort for the family after the great loss.
